In modern metal processing, the selection and allocation of cutting fluid is crucial to ensure processing quality and efficiency. Microemulsified cutting fluid is widely used in various cutting processes because of its excellent lubrication, cooling and cleaning properties. So, how to deploy a stable microemulsion cutting fluid? Below, we will introduce the deployment tutorial in detail.
 
1. Preparation before deployment
 
Before deploying microemulsified cutting fluid, we need to prepare some necessary raw materials and equipment. The raw materials mainly include mineral oil, surfactants, anti-rust agents, extreme pressure additives, emulsion stabilizers, anti-corrosion fungicides, anti-foam agents, etc. The equipment includes reactors, agitators, thermometers, measuring tools, etc.
 
1. Selection of raw materials:
 
Mineral oil: As a Base Oil, the choice of mineral oil is crucial. It should have good lubricity and stability, usually choose paraffin based mineral oil or naphthenic mineral oil.
 
Surfactants: The main role of surfactants is to help other additives dissolve in water to form a stable emulsion. Anionic surfactants and non-ionic surfactants are two commonly used types.
 
Rust inhibitor: Rust inhibitor can effectively reduce the corrosion of the workpiece being processed in the cutting process, commonly used are sodium petroleum sulfonate, caprylic acid or alkenyl succinic acid.
 
Extreme pressure additives: extreme pressure additives can enhance the extreme pressure performance of cutting fluid, improve cutting efficiency, commonly used chlorinated paraffin, sulfur or phosphorus containing extreme pressure agents, etc.
 
Emulsion stabilizer: Emulsion stabilizer can ensure that the cutting fluid is diluted with water to maintain a stable milky state.
 
Antiseptic fungicide: Antiseptic fungicide can prevent the cutting fluid from deteriorating and breeding bacteria during use.
 
Anti-foam agent: Anti-foam agent can eliminate the foam generated by the cutting fluid during use and maintain its stability.
 
2. Equipment Preparation:
 
Reactor: Used for mixing and heating raw materials.
 
Agitator: used for mixing raw materials to ensure that the components are fully mixed.
 
Thermometer: Used to monitor the temperature during the reaction.
 
Measuring tools: Used to accurately measure the amount of each raw material.
