Lubrication has always been a topic of constant discussion among motor manufacturers and users. Through a large amount of test data, it can be found that too much or too little grease is not conducive to the lubrication of bearings. Excessive filling of grease will cause a large amount of grease to accumulate in the bearing cap and the inner cavity of the bearing, which will increase friction, increase the temperature, and seriously affect the heat dissipation of the bearing system. Similarly, if the filling amount is insufficient, the oil film of the grease will be repaired. If the performance is not strong, the bearing will run under poor lubrication and burn out due to insufficient lubrication. Therefore, it is important to determine the proper amount of grease in the bearing.
However, from the analysis of the running state of the motor, the one-type filling amount is appropriate, and it also needs to be guaranteed by scientific filling methods and effective lubricating oil paths.
When the newly installed grease bearing starts to rotate, the grease is first thrown out from the rotating element, and quickly circulates and cools in the cavity of the bearing cover. Then the grease is cut into the rotating element from the outside of the rotating bearing race. The part of the grease that is close to the surface of the rotating element breaks the fiber network structure by shearing, so that a small amount of precipitated lubricating oil is on the rotating element and the seat. A lubricating film is formed on the surface of the ring. The remaining part of the grease still maintains an intact fiber network structure, which plays a role of cooling and sealing.
