How to distinguish the lubricating oil from deteriorated industrial lubricants will show a deep black color, and

dark brown, which can prove that the oil is deteriorating. If the deteriorated industrial lubricating oil is used,
the parts will be damaged, the service life of the machine will be affected, and safety accidents may occur in
serious points. We should take it seriously, and should always check whether the oil is deteriorated and replace

1.Observation method
By taking two measuring cups, one is filled with lubricating oil and the other is not filled with lubricating oil.
Then lift the measuring cup with lubricating oil to the height of three cups. Pour the lubricating oil into the
empty cup at an angle. During the observation period, the industrial lubricating oil with good quality will flow
into the empty cup evenly, slender and continuously. If the quality is poor, it will appear fast or slow, and
sometimes there will be large pieces left. It means it has gone bad.
2.Finger grinding
The lubricating oil is ground by the thumb and index finger in the finger. After repeated grinding, it can be
judged by the lubricity, friction degree and wear debris of the lubricating oil. A good lubricating oil will have
good lubricity, with few wear debris and no friction feeling. However, if particles are found during friction, it
means that the oil is defective and cannot be used. It should be replaced in time.
3.Sunlight method
The industrial lubricating oil can be stuck on it with a screwdriver, and then it can be tilted at an angle of 40
degrees, so that the oil can slowly fall down along the tip of the screwdriver in the sun, and observe the oil
drop. Under the light, the oil can clearly see whether there is debris. If there is no debris, it is proved to be
good. If there is debris, and there are too many debris, it is recommended to replace it.
4.Filter paper trace method
Prepare a clean white filter paper, drip a few drops of lubricating oil onto the filter paper, wait until the
lubricating oil leaks, and then observe whether there is black powder, and then touch with your fingers to see
whether there is a sense of astringency, if there is a lot of magazines, it needs to be replaced; a good
lubricating oil should be powder free, and the finger touch is very smooth, the color is yellow, which means
there is no problem with lubricating oil.
