1. Solid particulate pollution
 
Solid particles are the most common pollutants in bearing greases, accounting for more than 80%. These particles may come from dust, sand, metal debris in the environment, and particles produced by internal wear of equipment. When the size of these particles exceeds the thickness of the oil film, they will be embedded in the rolling surface of the bearing, causing increased friction, increased wear, and even scratching the bearing surface, ultimately leading to bearing failure.
