The guide rail lubricating oil used has the requirements of good crawling and anti-wear properties. This article mainly describes the knowledge of the selection of lubricating oil for machine tool guide rails: 1. The lubricating oil used for the guide rail should not only meet the lubrication requirements of the guide rail, but also serve as the hydraulic medium of the hydraulic system. For example, for machine tools such as coordinate boring machines, the viscosity of the guide rail oil (50°C) should be higher (40-90mm2/s); like various types of grinding machines, the guide rail lubricating oil is often supplied by the hydraulic system, and the hydraulic system has high requirements and must be Satisfaction, at this time, the viscosity (50°C) of the guide rail-hydraulic lubricating oil should be selected to be lower (20-40mm2/s), that is, the viscosity required by the hydraulic system.
2. Select the guide oil viscosity according to the sliding speed and average pressure. Among them, the viscosity of the guideway oil is the same as that of the international GB7632: "Selection of Lubricants for Machine Tools", two guideway oils L-G68 and L-G150 (equivalent to old grades No. 40 and No. 90), and two guideway-hydraulic oils. The viscosity of L-HG32 is comparable to that of L-HC68 (equivalent old grades No. 20 and No. 40).
3. Select the guide rail oil according to the actual application of foreign machine tool guide rail lubrication. When selecting the guide rail lubricant, you can also refer to the examples of the actual application of the guide rail lubrication of the existing machine tools abroad. For example, L-HL32 and L-HL46 hydraulic oil are used for horizontal lathes, drilling machines and milling machines; L-HG32 to L-HG68 hydraulic oils are used for universal grinding, cylindrical grinding, internal grinding and flat grinding.
