3) Excellent viscosity and temperature and low temperature liquidity. The viscosity index of synthetic oil is higher than that of mineral oil, and the viscosity varies little with temperature. When the viscosity of high temperature is the same, the pour point (or freezing point) of most synthetic oils is lower than that of mineral oil, and the viscosity at low temperature is small. With the same oil film requirements, the synthetic oil can be formed with lower viscosity to achieve the purpose of protecting the engine. Therefore, it can reduce the energy consumption of automobile at low temperature start-up and prolong the life of battery. At the same time, because of the short time required for lubricating oil to flow to the friction surface, the dry wear phenomenon of engine components can be reduced and the service life of engine can be prolonged.
4) In terms of maintenance costs, full synthetic oil is more economical. From the price point of view, in 4S shop or rapid repair shop, a bucket of conventional 4L mineral oil price is mostly 150 yuan 200 yuan, half synthesis at 250 yuan 300 yuan, all synthesis at about 350 yuan. Combined with the oil exchange cycle, the performance-price ratio of mineral oil is not high, and the performance-price ratio of all synthetic oil is higher. Based on 100 yuan for a small maintenance, an average of 40 yuan for an oil filter core and 10 yuan for auxiliary materials, the total cost of changing mineral oil is about 600 yuan.
