What is the difference between ester based oils used for high-temperature chains?

Insufficient oil performance of the chain can lead to machine shutdowns during operation, increased maintenance frequency, reduced energy efficiency, poor oil-water separation effect, and easy emulsification, even causing chain deformation and fracture. High quality and high-performance synthetic esters provide appropriate lubrication for chains and ratchets, excellent thermal and oxidative stability, and good adhesion properties. After a series of rigorous tests, it is recommended to use esters as a choice for chain oil applications. Because the characteristics of ester based oils can meet the oil standards under harsh conditions. Compared with mineral oils, synthetic esters have many superior properties: higher viscosity index, low pour point, high flash point, low temperature flowability, low volatility, high thermal stability, and antioxidant properties.
