Physical reasons: Due to the operation of the friction part, the oil is continuously affected by shear stress, which damages the soap structure, softens, and loses impurities. 3. Environmental reasons: The moving body is worn, and these metal powders can accelerate the oxidation of the grease to generate organic acids, destroy the structure of the grease, and cause the failure of the grease. Selecting the grease correctly according to the working conditions of the equipment (including load, temperature, speed, etc.) can prolong the service life of the grease.
Molybdenum disulfide grease should be selected for harsh environments. The environment where the lubricating part is in contact with the medium has a great influence on the performance of the grease, so it should be carefully considered when selecting the grease. Do not use on wet or water-contact areas. Due to the poor water resistance of molybdenum disulfide grease, it is easy to dilute and emulsify in contact with water.
