It is obvious from the appearance that the anti-rust grease is a solid anti-rust product, while the anti-rust oil and anti-rust fluid are liquid. So what are the characteristics of each of the liquids and the anti-rust effect is the same?
1. Anti-rust fluid Anti-rust fluid refers to an aqueous solution containing a certain amount of water-soluble Corrosion Inhibitor. It is often used for rust prevention between processes and is easy to remove without affecting the next process. For example, the rust prevention of workpieces during machining processes such as turning, cutting, grinding, etc., is inseparable from rust prevention water. Anti-rust water has the characteristics of convenient use, safety and economy, but the anti-rust period is generally short. If it is sealed for a long time, it needs to be replaced regularly and refilled with new liquid. How to use anti-rust fluid? There are full immersion method, spray method, cold coating method and hot coating method. Small parts are suitable for the full immersion method, which is convenient for regular replacement; large quantities of small parts can be sprayed, and the solution should be sprayed 2 to 3 times a day, and the solution is recycled; large products use cold or hot coating, and corrosion inhibitor in aqueous solution The content is higher than the first two. 2. Anti-rust oil Anti-rust oil is composed of Base Oil added with oil-soluble corrosion inhibitors and other additives. It is mostly used for rust prevention in the process, transportation or storage of metal products. It has the advantages of good effect, convenient use, and long anti-rust period. However, when used for rust prevention between processes, it sometimes affects the next treatment of the workpiece and should be removed. Anti-rust oil can be divided into: inter-process anti-rust oil, long-term sealed anti-rust oil and anti-rust lubricating oil. Among them, the sealed anti-rust oil has a relatively long anti-rust period and can be used for long-term indoor storage. Depending on the composition of the product, the anti-rust period can be as short as one year and as long as ten years.
3. Application of anti-rust fluid and anti-rust oil in surface treatment Anti-rust water and anti-rust oil, as a temporary and auxiliary anti-rust method, have been widely used in machinery, metallurgy, chemical and other industries. Anti-rust technology is applied to the pre-treatment and post-treatment of surface treatment (such as electroplating, painting) During processing, the corrosion resistance and decoration of the plating and coating can be greatly improved. For example, after degreasing and anti-rusting of the workpiece, if it is not phosphated or electroplated in time, it will quickly rust. If the workpiece is immersed in anti-rust water, the workpiece can be prevented from being rusted again.
