How to select industrial cleaning agent according to the type of oil stain?

As far as cleaning agents are concerned, they are widely used in household and industry. Generally, they can be divided into two types: inorganic and organic. To put it simply, organic cleaning agents are made of organic compounds, while inorganic cleaning agents have the opposite effect. However, for different production processes, they will be used selectively. How to select appropriate industrial cleaning agents?
1. Whether rust prevention is required Generally, water-based cleaning agents are used for cleaning the production process. Because water-based products have low cost and are more economical, water-based ones that do not have rust prevention function accelerate the rusting of metal materials. The reason is that removing the protective layer on the surface after cleaning will speed up the rusting. If there is a requirement for rust prevention, water-based cleaning agents with rust prevention function should be used, which should be selected appropriately according to the specific situation of the enterprise. 2. Type of water or solvent If the objects to be cleaned are required to volatilize quickly and have rust prevention requirements, solvent type can be considered. Such products have strong degreasing and degreasing capacity. If the cleaning cost is required to be low, there is no requirement for volatilization of cleaning, and they are not sensitive to rust prevention, water-based type can be selected. 3. Ultrasonic cleaning machine or spray cleaning This also requires attention when selecting cleaning agents. If the water-based type is cleaned in the ultrasonic cleaning machine, it is not sensitive to the requirements of foam. If the spray cleaning is used, it has requirements for foam. It requires low foam degreasing and degreasing cleaning, It is suitable for spray cleaning (spray cleaning has different requirements for foam with different spray pressure. The higher the spray pressure, the lower the bubble. However, there is also a contradiction. As many excellent surfactants cannot be used, the degreasing ability of most low bubble cleaning agents is relatively weak, and its cleaning effect is difficult to achieve the high bubble cleaning effect, which must be comprehensively considered when selecting.
4. In addition, appropriate industrial cleaning agents should be selected according to the type of oil stain of the cleaning object. The requirements for cleaning agents are different because of different oil stains to be cleaned. (1) During the processing, due to the processing requirements (such as cooling, lubrication, abrasive, surface treatment, heat treatment, etc.), the metal has various oil stains. This kind of oil stain is mostly mineral oil, but also animal and vegetable oils, emulsions, polishing pastes, grinding pastes, and various salts. The components of this kind of oil stain are relatively simple, the time that they exist on the metal surface is relatively short, the adhesion is not strong, and they are easy to remove. Therefore, it is OK to choose the normal temperature cleaning agent that is non corrosive to metals, and the requirements for other indicators of the cleaning agent are not high. In terms of component selection of cleaning agent, hydrophobic surfactant containing aliphatic group is mostly used for animal and vegetable oily oil stains. Hydrophobic surfactant containing aromatic group is mainly used for mineral oil stain. (2) The oil stains on metal surfaces such as machinery and parts that have been sealed for a long time are mostly rust preventive oil, rust preventive grease, vapor phase rust inhibitor and water-soluble Corrosion Inhibitor. Because the components of this kind of oil stain are relatively complex, adhere closely to metal, volatilize and self polymerize for a long time, and even undergo physical and chemical changes, it is difficult to clean. This requires the selection of cleaning agents according to different situations. For thick oil stains such as rust proof grease, warm cleaning agent can be used for unsealing and then cleaning, which can greatly improve the unsealing cleaning efficiency. For thin oil, vapor phase corrosion inhibitor and water-soluble corrosion inhibitor, two kinds of cleaning agents can be used, namely, heating or normal temperature. (3) The oil stain produced by the cleaning object after operation is more complex. This kind of oil stain is mostly various lubricating oil, fuel oil, etc., plus other industrial dirt, dust, metal powder. Due to the long time, complex operation and various factors, such oil contamination has complex composition, firm adhesion and difficult cleaning. In general, special cleaning agents should be selected according to the different components of oil contamination. For example, carbon removal cleaning agents should be used to clean engine carbon deposits. Scale remover shall be used for cleaning scale.
