Flash point: refers to the open flash point. Generally, the actual operating temperature should be 20 ℃ -30 ℃ lower than the flash point of lubricating oil. The flash point of lubricating oil refers to the minimum temperature at which a mixture of steam and air that escapes from the heated oil comes into contact with a flame under specified conditions and causes an instant fire, denoted as the flash point in ℃. For example, the flash point of mineral chain oil is 220 degrees, and the maximum operating temperature is 150-180 degrees. Mineral oil type chain oil is used at temperatures below 150 degrees Celsius, which can easily form a large amount of sludge and gum on the chain. The cleaning cycle is about one month, resulting in a short service life of the chain. For example, the flash point of polyether chain oil is 270 degrees. The maximum operating temperature is 200 degrees. The use temperature is between 150 and 220 degrees Celsius. Due to its thermal decomposition products at high temperatures, they can evaporate or dissolve in residual oil, making it difficult to form dirt, paint film, or carbon deposits. They are cleaned approximately once every six months, which can extend the service life of the chain. However, when the temperature is above 220 degrees Celsius, polyethers evaporate quickly and consume a lot of oil, which is not conducive to environmental protection and can easily pollute the fabric. For example, the flash point of synthetic ester chain oil is 270 degrees, and the operating temperature can reach 240 degrees. The operating temperature is 220-260 degrees Celsius. Due to its excellent thermal oxidation stability and biodegradability, low evaporation loss, less coking, and certain solubility in resin and paint film, as well as excellent lubrication performance, it can further reduce oil consumption, extend the chain cleaning cycle by more than 1 year, improve production efficiency, and extend the chain life.
