The temperature of high-temperature chain oil has two temperatures: one is the flash point and the other is the operating temperature. Flash point: that is, open flash point. Generally, the actual operating temperature should be 20 ℃ - 30 ℃ lower than the flash point of lubricating oil. The flash point of lubricating oil refers to the temperature when the mixture of steam and air escaping from the heating oil and the flame contact with the instantaneous fire under the specified conditions, which is called the flash point, expressed in ℃. Working temperature: the temperature that can actually meet the working conditions. At this temperature, it shows less coking and less volatilization. The temperature of high temperature chain oil must meet the above two conditions at the same time: 1. The actual working temperature is 20-30 degrees below the flash point, 2. At this temperature, there is less coking and less volatilization.
Different properties of different types of chain oil 1 For example: The flash point of mineral chain oil is 220 ℃, and the service temperature is 150-180 ℃. The operating temperature of mineral oil type chain oil is below 150 ℃, and it is easy to form a large amount of sludge and colloid on the chain. The coke cleaning cycle is about 1 month, resulting in a short service life of the chain. 2 For example: The flash point of polyether chain oil is 270 degrees. The temperature is 200 degrees. The service temperature is between 150-220 ℃. Because its thermal decomposition products at high temperature can be volatilized or dissolved in residual oil, it is not easy to form dirt, paint film or carbon deposit. It can prolong the service life of the chain by cleaning the coke once every half a year. However, the polyether volatilizes quickly above 220 ℃, consumes a lot of oil, is not conducive to environmental protection, and is easy to pollute the fabric in the air. 3 For example: The flash point of synthetic ester chain oil is 270 degrees, and the service temperature can reach 240 degrees. The service temperature is 220-260 ℃. Because of its excellent thermal oxidation stability and biodegradability, small evaporation loss, less coking, and certain solubility of resin and paint film, as well as excellent lubrication performance, it can further reduce oil consumption, extend the chain coking cycle for more than 1 year, improve production efficiency and extend the chain life.
