What harm will bubbles cause to lubricating oil? During the production, use, storage and transportation of lubricating oil, it is inevitable that air enters the lubricating oil. When some air is dissolved in the lubricating oil, there is no appearance, so there is no foam or bubble; If some air is not dissolved in the lubricating oil, and this air is free, it will produce foam and bubbles visible to the naked eye. Air entering the lubricating oil and generating bubbles is a serious hazard to the lubricating oil, such as: ① Accelerate the oxidation of lubricating oil to cause deterioration;
② Destroy the integrity of the oil film, resulting in poor lubrication;
③ Increase the compressibility of lubricating oil, such as the hydraulic oil that plays the role of transmission. If the compressibility increases, it will cause equipment operation problems;
④ Under high pressure, the bubbles are compressed to produce high temperature, which makes the lubricating oil deteriorate due to high temperature; ⑤ Too many bubbles will make the lubricating oil overflow, causing waste; ⑥ Causing equipment cavitation; ⑦ Reduce the cooling property of lubricating oil; ⑧ Affecting the stability of equipment operation, etc.
By analyzing the causes of foaming of lubricating oil, polyether defoamer was recommended to him. The main raw materials of polyether defoamer are propylene glycol or glycerin, propylene oxide, ethylene oxide, etc., which are polymerized under the catalysis of potassium hydroxide. It is characterized by strong foam inhibition, fast defoaming, good compatibility, no oil bleaching, etc. As a new and powerful defoamer, polyether defoamer not only has good defoaming performance, but also can play a huge role in a little bit. Therefore, it can save consumption in the production process, so as to reduce costs. In addition, when it is added to the lubricating oil, it will not affect the basic properties of the lubricating oil, and has a very good effect on keeping the original lubricating oil.
