The unreasonable lubrication method and structural design defects of the planetary reducer have caused the unreliable application of this planetary reducer. The problems reflected, first are the reduction in service life, and secondly, the loud noise and vibration, resulting in frequent maintenance. Moreover, the eccentric bearing and the needle gear sleeve must be replaced every time the maintenance costs are increased.

The work of the bearing is not very stable. Due to the effect of gravity and the vibration generated by the mechanical movement, the bearing will inevitably cause a small amount of displacement in the axial position of the bearing. This relative movement is very harmful, and constant impact may cause the elastic retaining ring. The deformation and breaking of the bearing may cause the bearing to fall off the shaft. Even if the bearing does not fall off, it will generate a lot of noise due to vibration.

The lubrication method of the planetary reducer is also an aspect that causes poor lubrication. The splash type lubrication method is mainly used for high-speed occasions. It is obviously inappropriate for this medium load and low-speed situation. Long-life, low-maintenance enclosed full-life gearboxes, boiler row feed gearboxes, gear chain stepless transmission, planetary reducer lubrication, can also be used for the lubrication of centralized grease supply equipment.

When selecting the grease according to the bearing load of the traveling planetary reducer, the grease with a small penetration degree should be selected for heavy loads. When working under high pressure, in addition to low penetration, it also has higher oil film strength and extreme pressure performance.

When selecting grease according to the environment, calcium-based grease is not easily soluble in water and is suitable for dry and low-water environments.

When selecting grease according to working temperature, the main indicators should be dropping point, oxidation stability and low-temperature performance. The dropping point can generally be used to evaluate high-temperature performance. The actual working temperature of the bearing should be 10-20°C lower than the dropping point. The use temperature of synthetic grease should be 20-30℃ lower than the dropping point.
