As early as 1998, the State Environmental Protection Administration, the State Economic and Trade Commission, the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation and the Ministry of Public Security formulated the "National List of Hazardous Wastes" in accordance with the "Law of the People's Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Environmental Pollution by Solid Wastes", which clearly stipulates that waste soap, Emulsified oil/water, hydrocarbon water mixture, emulsion paste cutting agent, etc. are hazardous wastes. Therefore, the emulsified oil of the old cutting fluid cutting fluid must be professionally treated, guided and counseled before it can be discharged.

Engaged in wire cutting EDM environmental protection processing industry for more than 20 years, combined with the experience of environmental protection requirements of European Union, Japanese and foreign enterprises, and various industrial areas, I will share with you the relevant experience in the treatment and discharge of old liquid from fast and medium wire cutting machine tools. In the process of creating wealth and value, and in the process of taking social responsibilities, the owners will reduce blind spots, avoid detours, and avoid fines and shutdowns.

1. Selection of processing fluid
First of all, it is necessary to choose a real green water-based wire cutting fluid. The real green and environmentally friendly processing fluid must not contain sodium nitrite, silver nitrite, hexapotassium chromium, heavy metals and other harmful substances and pollution sources. Most of the "water-based" cutting fluids on the market are "semi-synthetic water-soluble oils" containing a large amount of non-standard mineral oils, which are not real green and environmentally friendly processing fluids.

In the actual processing and production, we must do:
1) Standard use, strict water change and addition;
2) Create conditions for centralized liquid supply, and the old liquid is uniformly packed; centralized liquid supply can improve the utilization rate and processing efficiency of the working fluid, maintain the processing stability of the working fluid, and maintain good cooling and chip removal.
3) Concentration management;
4) Regular care and three waste detection after dilution.

2. Cleaning of machine tool circulation system
In our actual processing and production, the old liquid contains a large amount of metal mixed powders and impurities such as molybdenum, iron, carbon powder, sludge, etc. At the same time, a certain amount of metal powder and debris have accumulated in the dead corners of the water tank, pipes, and pump valve filters. . Therefore, when changing the liquid, the water tank, workbench and pipeline should be thoroughly and fully cleaned, and the interval between two times is 30 minutes (the interval time is a sterilization time), and each time there is a required cleaning time of 10 minutes.

Cleaning Methods:
1) You can add an appropriate amount of detergent with clean water, and turn on the water pump to circulate for 0.5 hours.
2) Dissolve 5% industrial cleaning agent and "0.2% bactericide for machine tool circulation system" in 100% clean water. In winter, use boiling water heated to not less than 60 degrees to clean, turn on the water pump to circulate for 0.5 hours, and wash twice.

3. Non-woven filter
 Filter out solid waste:
1) Filter the old liquid with non-woven fabric, and rely on the gravity of the liquid to pass through the non-woven fabric to isolate sludge and other debris.
2) It can filter out sludge and solid particles.
3) Conditional users can buy a portable oil filter to filter the old liquid twice.
4) The filtered sludge and solid particles are collected and stored.
5) Assuming that there is 300 kg of old liquid, about 60 kg of particulate matter and sludge can be filtered out after two filtrations.
6) According to the solid waste treatment specification, the particulate matter and sludge solid waste should be packed in nylon bags and sorted for garbage disposal.

4. Add sedimentation agent for precipitation
Assuming that there are 300 kg of old liquid, the remaining 240 kg of liquid after filtering in the previous process:
1) The supplier adds 2%~5% of the total amount of sedimentation adsorbent and environmentally friendly activated carbon, and precipitates after moderate stirring.
2) It can also be adsorbed with sea sand and become a light-colored clear liquid after being attached;
3) After moderate stirring, precipitation once, and precipitation repeated 1 and 2, after treatment once, semi-fluid and semi-solid waste will be produced, about 60 kg.
4) After placing the "semi-fluid and semi-solid waste" in the open iron bucket for 3-6 months, about 40 kg of water will be air-dried and evaporated, resulting in about 20 kg of solid waste particulate matter, and then packed in nylon bags and disposed of according to the classification of garbage, Based on solid waste.

5. Dilution and Discharge
Finally, dilute the remaining 180 kg of liquid with 10 times tap water, that is, 1900 kg. There is almost no pollution, and the diluted liquid can be directly discharged; it can also be used for secondary use in circulating online cutting processing fluid, and it can also be used for industrial floor washing and toilet sanitary ware cleaning.
