Metal gear grease: high lubricity, high adhesion, durability and other properties are required. It is recommended to use gear grease produced from Synthetic Base Oil. The oil film is uniform and stable, and the durability is much better than that of mineral oil. For all-metal gears, you can choose lubricating grease with higher viscosity, the thickness of the oil film will be thicker, and choosing the appropriate viscosity will allow better filling.
Grease for plastic gears: The outstanding feature is that there is almost no chemical and physical reaction with plastics, so it is necessary to have the necessary plastic compatibility test data, which is a basic performance requirement.
Since plastic gears and greases have certain compatibility problems, good plastic gear greases must be specially prepared for plastic products, and base oils with relatively high compatibility must be used.
