2. The leaf spring cannot be filled with grease Since the leaf spring will be squeezed during use, it is easy to be squeezed out from between the steel plates after adding grease, and it is easy to adhere to dust, which will cause the leaf spring to rust quickly and reduce the service life of the leaf spring. Graphite calcium base grease should be applied when maintaining or assembling leaf springs.
3. The tire bolts and nuts cannot be greased After the tire nut is tightened, the threads have the characteristics of self-locking. After applying grease, the self-locking performance of the bolt connection will be deteriorated. Therefore, never apply grease or lubricating oil on the bolts and nuts of the tire, otherwise the nut will be damaged. Loose, the tires run off, causing serious accidents.
4, Rubber parts can not be coated with grease The contact between rubber parts and grease will accelerate the aging and permanent deformation of rubber parts, thus affecting the performance and service life of rubber hoses.
5. Do not apply grease when installing the engine cylinder head gasket The cylinder head gasket is an important sealing material between the engine block and the cylinder head. If grease is applied to the cylinder head gasket, when the cylinder head bolts are tightened, a part of the grease will be squeezed into the cylinder water passages and oil passages, leaving the space between the cylinder head gaskets. When the butter is working in the cylinder, due to the influence of high temperature, part of it will flow into the cylinder for combustion, and the other part will form carbon deposits between the joint surface of the cylinder block and the cylinder head. Burn through, causing engine leaks. Therefore, do not apply butter when installing the cylinder head gasket.
