Calcium Alkyl Salicylate plays an important role as a detergent in lubricating oil. Its mechanism of action includes acid neutralization, solubilization, dispersion and washing. Specifically, it can neutralize acidic oxides or organic acids produced by lubricating oil oxidation and incomplete combustion of fuel, preventing these substances from further oxidation and condensation, thereby reducing the formation of varnish deposits. At the same time, calcium alkyl salicylate can also adsorb the already formed varnish, colloid and carbon deposits, disperse them in the oil, keep the parts clean and reduce wear.
Medium Base Calcium Alkyl Salicylate is a kind of Lubricant Additive with a comprehensive performance and wide application. This product has excellent high temperature detergency, hydrolytic stability, and has certain antioxidant, corrosion resistance, it is widely used in the gasoline engine oil, diesel engine oil, and marine oil.
