The Base Oil of ester oil compressor oil can be divided into two categories: mineral oil type and synthetic oil type. With the upgrading of equipment and the improvement of requirements, Synthetic Base Oil meets the lubrication requirements of most screw and reciprocating compressors with its unique excellent comprehensiveness, and is increasingly favored by lubricant manufacturers and equipment manufacturers.

Advantages of ester oil application
Ester oils suitable for use in compressor oil include diesters, polyol esters and trimellitic esters, with the following advantages:

1. Good high and low temperature performance, thermal oxidation stability: its flash point and self ignition point are more than 40 ℃ higher than ordinary mineral oil, and its service temperature is 50 ℃ higher than ordinary mineral oil.

2. Extremely low volatility, low fuel consumption, only 1/8 of mineral oil consumption.

3. Low carbon residue, good solubility, high cleanliness of the lubrication system, high flash point and high spontaneous ignition point greatly improve the safety of equipment operation and avoid safety accidents.

4. Excellent lubricating performance: ester oil has high strength of oil film formed by polarity and metal surface, which can greatly reduce friction coefficient and wear during equipment operation;

5. High thermal conductivity: the thermal conductivity of ester oil is more than 15% higher than that of mineral oil, and the specific heat is large. The specific heat capacity is 5-10% higher than that of mineral oil, so the heat dissipation is good, which can effectively reduce the temperature of the oil tank and lubricating system.

6. It has extremely low toxicity and biodegradability. The biodegradation rate of diester and polyol ester, especially for compressor oil, can reach more than 90%, which can reduce the pollution to the ecological environment.

Application case
1. The working pressure of compressor for cargo ship of a shipping company is 3MPa, and the exhaust temperature is above 200 ℃. After using synthetic ester type Air Compressor Oil for 8000h, the 40 ℃ kinematic viscosity of the oil increases from 100.5mm2/s to 106.7mm2/s, the change rate is 6.2%, the acid value increases from 0.20 to 0.31, and the insoluble content increases from 0.02% to 0 12%, the rotating oxygen bomb time was reduced from 2366 min to 425 min, all indicators of the oil products were still within the requirements of the oil change standard, and the performance was good. At the same time, the content of copper, iron, aluminum, lead, nickel and other elements in the oil products was less than 10 mg/kg, and the corrosion or wear of the equipment was weak.

2. The working pressure of a high-pressure compressor used by a petrochemical enterprise is 20MPa, and the exhaust temperature is above 220 ℃. After using synthetic ester type air compressor oil for one year, the operating parameters of the equipment remain normal, and the cylinder, piston ring, bearing and other parts are free of carbon deposits. The performance of the oil products is good, fully meeting the lubrication requirements of the equipment.

Use synthetic ester type air compressor oil: the liquid phase is rustless, and the oil has better performance than other products in terms of coking resistance, evaporation loss, oxidation resistance, rust resistance, extreme pressure wear resistance, etc. At the same time, the rubber compatibility and hydrolysis stability are also good.
