(1) The material life of the equipment, also known as natural life. It refers to the time experienced by the equipment from the time it is put into use to the time it is discarded due to physical wear and tear that makes the equipment technically completely lose its use value;

(2) The technical life of the equipment, also known as effective life. It refers to the time experienced by the equipment from the beginning of putting into use to the appearance of new equipment with better performance and higher efficiency due to technological progress, so that the original equipment loses the use value before reaching the material life and exits the use process;

(3) Economic life of the equipment. From the point of view of the material life of the equipment, the failure rate of the equipment in the early use is relatively high, because there is a "running-in period" between the oil and the equipment, this period must be in accordance with the recommended lubricating oil quality oil in the equipment manual, in order to ensure the uniformity and effectiveness of the running-in, and greatly reduce the failure rate in the later effective life stage. The effective life stage after normal operation is more inseparable from a reasonable oil change cycle. A reasonable oil change cycle can keep the equipment running in a stable and low failure rate.

During the operation of the equipment, energy is lost when the transmission between the parts, so the transmission efficiency can never reach 100%, so how to improve the energy transmission efficiency is the problem faced by all walks of life.

Starting from the initial equipment, the manufacturing accuracy of the equipment is getting higher and higher, the strength is getting harder and harder, and the matching gap is getting smaller and smaller.
