3. Use and maintenance

Dilution of microemulsified cutting fluid

1) Dilute water should be used white water or other purified water equivalent to tap water: such as the concentration of Ca and Mg ions in dilute water >350ppm. Water softening treatment should be carried out.

2) Diluent concentration control should be based on the volume of the water tank (pool), according to the use of product concentration measurement: in the process of use, should be based on the processing situation, regularly according to the initial concentration of 1/4~1/2 added to ensure the specified use of concentration.

Maintenance of microemulsified cutting fluid

1) The microemulsified cutting fluid should be maintained, and the liquid tank (pool) should have good ventilation and light transmission conditions: closed water tank (pool) circulation system. Fresh air and light are blown into the liquid tank (pool) regularly every day.

2) Maintain the normal pH value of regular sampling of microemulsion diluent pH value should be maintained within the specified range, such as pH value less than 8, should be added new liquid or with triethanolamine or sodium carbonate to adjust the pH value >8.

3) Maintain the diluent clean chips require magnet adsorption, filter paper (cloth) filtration, centrifuge separation and other measures to purify the diluent.

4) If necessary, add fungicide.

5) Regular sampling of diluent main monitoring indicators, unqualified. Immediate measures should be taken or replaced.

4. Replacement

Scrap index of microemulsified cutting fluid

If any of the following circumstances. Should be replaced in time.

1) The rust resistance is significantly decreased: that is, the workpiece is easy to rust. Diluent sampling. The rust resistance is not qualified, and after increasing the concentration, the rust resistance is still unqualified.

2) Dilution deterioration: that is, large odor, odor, etc., total number of bacteria ≥108 / mL.3) Diluent pH <8.4) Diluent oil content ≥5%.

Alternative method

1) Before replacement, it is necessary to add fungicide to the waste liquid or after reasonable treatment before discharge.

2) When replacing, the waste liquid in the cutting area, pipeline and water tank (pool) of the machine tool must be thoroughly drained and rinsed before the new liquid can be replaced.
