Generally, oil products containing sulfur-chlorine compound additives are used to ensure extreme pressure performance and avoid problems such as blackening of workpieces and breakage of punches.
2. Reasons for deterioration of cold heading oil during use: 1. The anti-oxidation properties of cold heading forming oil at high temperature deteriorate, aggravating its thermal decomposition, oxidation and polymerization. At the same time, the dust and moisture in the air enter through the air intake system to contaminate the cold heading oil, so the cold heading oil is easy to deteriorate.
2. The viscosity of lubricating oil changes with the increase of temperature, that is, the viscosity of cold heading oil decreases when it is heated, which is easy to cause the consumption of cold heading oil too fast.

At high temperature, the density of cold heading forming oil changes, and the thermal expansion of metal parts is large, and the normal matching gap between the parts and the mold becomes smaller, which leads to increased wear of the die punch.
