Wire cutting fluid is used in CNC wire cutting machine work, with cooling, lubrication, cleaning and rust prevention functions of the liquid. At the same time, it also has the following special properties:

Ensure the machining accuracy and the roughness of the workpiece

Water soluble wire-cutting fluid includes

1. Emulsion oil type,

2. Semi-synthetic,

3. Three kinds of full combination molding.

Emulsified oil type water-based wire-cutting fluid

It consists of mineral oil, emulsifier, and necessary additives. Dilute to 5% working liquid with water when using.

Such as: anti-rust emulsion oil, saponification liquid, saponification block, emulsified paste, etc.

When used, the emulsified oil is poured into water to form an oil-in-water working liquid.

Avoid adding water to the oil or diluting the emulsified oil with a small amount of water, otherwise you will get a water-in-oil emulsion, which is viscous and not suitable for general cutting use.

Semi-synthetic (microemulsion) water-based wire-cutting fluid

It is composed of emulsifier, mineral oil, water-soluble anti-rust agent, etc. The mineral oil content is about 15~30%; When used, the suspension is diluted to 5%~8% with water.

Such as: micro-emulsion cutting fluid, some "water-based wire cutting fluid" and so on.

Fully formed waterborne wire-cutting fluid

It is completely composed of water-soluble substances and diluted to 5%~25% aqueous solution when used. Such as: synthetic cutting fluid, water-soluble wire cutting fluid, internal circular slicing fluid, etc.

How to compare and choose three water-based wire-cutting fluids?

Emulsified wire cutting fluid

Main advantages:

When the new liquid is used, the processing speed increases slowly in the initial processing stage. When the emulsion is close to the waste liquid in the later stage, the processing speed also slowly decreases.

Scope of application:

Generally, emulsified cutting fluid is suitable for processing workpieces with a thickness of less than 300mm. In this thickness range, its processing machinery performance is better. It has good lubricity, washing property and cooling property, and the processing is stable, the processing precision is relatively high, and it is suitable for the production and processing of relatively fine molds.

Semi-synthetic microemulsion and fully synthetic wire-cutting fluid

Main advantages:

The main advantages of semi-synthetic microemulsion linear cutting fluid are higher cutting efficiency than oil, less pollution, and saving mineral oil.

The main advantages of fully formed water-soluble wire cutting fluid are higher cutting efficiency, no pollution, harmless to human body, and saving mineral oil.

Semi-synthetic microemulsion and fully synthetic wire cutting fluid, the initial conductivity at room temperature is 1200~1800, the working liquid new liquid in the initial stage of processing, its processing speed is quickly raised in a short time, to the failure stage of the processing speed will rapidly decline.

The cleaning and cooling effects of semi-synthetic microemulsion and fully synthetic wire-cutting fluid are better than those of Emulsified Working Fluid, and the permeability is particularly strong.
