The guide rail lubricating oil used has good creeping property, wear resistance and other requirements. The guide rail lubricating oil used shall not only meet the lubrication requirements of the guide rail, but also serve as the hydraulic medium of the hydraulic system. For machine tools such as coordinate boring machines, the guide oil viscosity (50 ℃) should be higher (40-90mm2/s); For various grinders, the guide rail lubricating oil is often supplied by the hydraulic system, which has high requirements and must be met. At this time, the viscosity of guide rail hydraulic lubricating oil (50 ℃) should be lower (20-40mm2/s), that is, the viscosity required by the hydraulic system.
The viscosity of guide oil shall be selected according to the sliding speed and average pressure. The viscosity of guide rail oil is equivalent to the viscosity of two guide rail oils L-G68 and L-G150 (equivalent old brand No. 40 and 90) recommended in GB7632: "Selection of Lubricants for Machine Tools", and the viscosity of two guide rail hydraulic oils L-HG32 and L-HC68 (equivalent old brand No. 20 and 40). Guide oil shall be selected according to the actual application of foreign machine tool guide lubrication. When selecting guide rail lubricant, we can also refer to the actual application examples of foreign existing machine tool guide rail lubrication. For example, L-HL32 and L-HL46 hydraulic oils are selected for horizontal lathes, drilling machines and milling machines; L-HG32 to L-HG68 hydraulic oil is selected for universal grinding, external grinding, internal grinding and flat grinding.
