Specifically, its function can be divided into acid neutralization, solubilization, dispersion and clean.
1. Acid neutralization:
The detergent dispersant generally has certain alkalinity, some even high alkalinity such as
Tbn Booster. It can neutralize the organic acid and inorganic acid generated by the oxidation of lubricating oil, prevent its further condensation, then reduce the paint film, and at the same time prevent the corrosion of these acid substances on engine components.
2. Solubilization:
Detergents and dispersants are all surfactants, which can solubilize solid or liquid substances that cannot be dissolved in oil in the micelle center composed of 5-20 surfactant molecules. In the process of use, they can solubilize oxygen-containing compounds, nitro compounds, water, etc. containing hydroxyl, carbonyl, carboxyl groups into the micelle to form a colloid, so as to prevent further oxidation Condensation reduces the formation and accumulation of harmful deposits on engine components.
3. Dispersion:
It can absorb the small solid particles such as carbon deposition and paint film that have been formed, so that they become a colloidal solution state and disperse in the oil, and prevent these substances from further condensing into large particles and adhering to the parts, or depositing into oil sludge.
4. Clean effect:
It can wash the paint film and carbon deposit that have been adsorbed on the surface of the parts, disperse them in the oil, and keep the engine and metal surfaces clean.
