When selecting guide rail lubricating oil for machine tool guide rail, not only the lubricity of the lubricating oil should be considered, but also the efficiency of the guide rail should be met. The guide rail lubricating oil used has good creep and wear resistance. This chapter mainly describes the selection of lubricating oil for machine tool guide rail.
1. The guide rail lubricating oil used shall not only meet the lubrication requirements of the guide rail, but also be used as the hydraulic medium of the hydraulic system. For machine tools such as coordinate boring machines, the viscosity of guide oil (50 ℃) should be higher (40-90mm2/s); Like all kinds of grinders, the guide rail lubricating oil is often supplied by the hydraulic system, and the hydraulic system has higher requirements, which must be met. At this time, the viscosity of the guide rail-hydraulic lubricating oil (50 ℃) should be lower (20-40mm2/s), that is, the viscosity required by the hydraulic system.
2. Select the viscosity of guide oil according to the sliding speed and average pressure.
The viscosity of guide rail oil is equivalent to the viscosity of two kinds of guide rail oil L-G68 and L-G150 (equivalent old brand No. 40 and No. 90) recommended in the international GB7632: "Selection of lubricants for machine tools", and two kinds of guide rail - hydraulic oil L-HG32 and L-HC68 (equivalent old brand No. 20 and No. 40).
3. Guide oil is selected according to the actual application of foreign machine tool guide rail lubrication. When selecting the guide rail lubricant, you can also refer to the actual application examples of the existing machine tool guide rail lubricant abroad. For example, L-HL32 and L-HL46 hydraulic oil are selected for horizontal lathe, drilling machine and milling machine; L-HG32 to L-HG68 hydraulic oil is selected for universal grinding, cylindrical grinding, internal grinding and flat grinding.
